Yoga - A Regular School Curriculum
Need to include Yoga in Schools as a Regular curriculum
Students these days are becoming physically weaker day by day. There seem to be decline in their stamina and derogating physical health. Year by year the syllabus is reducing, still the tension for studies among the kids is increasing.
However a 'Thanks' to the modern education that has introduced various extra-curricular activities in schools like Modern Arts, Music and Dance, various sports events, global languages and many more. Apart from these all schools need to introduce 'YOGA' as a regular subject just like other subjects on the daily basis. this would not only keep the scholars physically but also mentally fit. They need to be taught the importance of Yoga that has some psychological effects also and keeps away from any sort of diseases.
Benefits:
Meditation may have such soothing and relaxing effect that the kids can easily overcome the stress and anxiety caused by their hectic schedule and the tiredness caused by the long time screening (that seems to have become unavoidable). The academic performance of the scholars definitely start improving on the regular performance of Yoga and meditation. Moreover the kids are less stressful and are able to face everything nicely.
However most of the people are even aware of the benefits of Yoga are not able to abide by it for the busy schedule.
If the child of a house performs and knows the benefits of yoga, he/she would definitely teach all the other family members of the family. So it is requested to all to promote the importance of and need the essence of introducing this as a mandatory subject.
